Janine Carpenter is the founder of Local Flavor Love, a Maryland-based corporate gifting company she launched in 2021, where every product included in its gifts is sourced from a DMV-area small business. Raised by small business owners, Janine saw firsthand the impact local businesses have on the communities they serve. During the pandemic, she set out to find a meaningful way to support them — and Local Flavor Love was born.

Today, Local Flavor Love creates thoughtfully curated corporate gifts for holidays, client and employee appreciation, and special occasions. The company also offers quarterly gifting programs that help businesses stay top of mind, nurture relationships, and create meaningful client touchpoints throughout the year. Each gift is designed to make a memorable impression while supporting the local economy.
