Member PortalQ: I am a current member. How do I access my account?
A: If you know your username (first initial of first name followed by last name) and password please click the Login button at the top right. If you do not know your password, you can retrieve that information by clicking on the green Login button in the upper right corner of the site and selecting “retrieve my pasword.”
Q: How do I update my profile?
A: To update your profile, click on "My Profile" in the member portal menu. Review your information, make changes as necessary, and click on the "Save Changes" button to update your profile.
Please note: All "required" fields must be filled out prior to updating your profile otherwise changes will not be saved. Mailing address is a required field and the system defaulted to the MBA/MW office address in Falls, Church, VA.
Q: How do I add, remove or change an employee to our organization’s membership?
If you need to add a new employee to your organization’s membership, please ask the employee join here or through the “join now” page and select “Regular Employee Member” or “Associate Employee Member” as their member type. Once they complete their profile, we will be alerted and can confirm that they are part of an organization membership and will approve their profile. If the employee has any questions, they can contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Q: How can I renew my membership online?
A: If you are the Primary Contact for your organization’s membership, you can renew their membership by selecting "Membership Renewal" in the member portal menu. To pay for membership dues by credit card, select "Register & Pay Online".
Username & Password AssistanceQ: I do not know my username and password.
A: If you are a current member of MBA/MW, you can retrieve your username and a temporary password via email by clicking on the green login button in the upper right corner of the site and entering the email address that was used to sign up for your account.
Q: I'm the primary contact for my company's membership and when I asked to reset my password, I received two emails. How to I handle both profiles?
A: Please pay attention to which email resets the password for your "organization" membership and which one allows you to update your personal profile. Your personal profile will stay with you if/when you change positions or organizations. As the primary contact for your organization’s membership, please only use that profile to renew your corporate membership. If you have any questions, please email email@example.com.
Q: I don't know the email address that was used to sign up for my account
A: If you attempt to retrieve your credentials and your email does not match what we have on file please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Q: I received an email containing my username and a temporary password, what next?
A: Please proceed to the Login in the top right and type in your username and temporary password.
Q: I am having trouble accessing my account with the username and temporary password that was sent to me.
A: We recommend that you type the username and password that was provided via email. If you copy and paste the selection into the username and password fields, sometimes you are copying and pasting an extra "space" which the system will not recognize.
Q: I pressed the "Retrieve Username and Password" button more than once, will I get more than one email?
A: You can retrieve your username and a temporary password as many times as you wish but the system will send you additional emails. Note that the most recent email you've received will contain the temporary password that will allow you to access your account.
Event RegistrationQ: How do I register for an event?
If you are a MBA/MW member, please log in to your profile first. Then visit the Events page, view the events calendar and click on the event you are interested in for more details. You can then register from this page. If you have any questions, please contact us at email@example.com.
