The Mortgage Bankers Association of Metropolitan Washington is the largest organization representing residential and commercial real estate finance industry professionals in the Washington, DC metropolitan area.

Our 95 member companies include all elements of residential, commercial and multifamily real estate finance: mortgage companies, mortgage brokers, wholesale and correspondent lenders, commercial banks, life insurance companies, law firms, title companies, appraisal companies and other companies involved in mortgage lending and affiliated industries.

WHAT WE DO

• Build knowledge through education and networking. MBA/MW is the definitive source for ideas, tools, and resources for residential and commercial real estate finance companies and professionals.
   
• Engage in advocacy. MBA/MW works with the Maryland Mortgage Bankers Association (MMBA), the Virginia Mortgage Lenders Association (VMLA) and the Mortgage Bankers Association (MBA) to engage in and promote advocacy efforts to impact legislative and regulatory issues both locally and nationally.
   
• Foster community. MBA/MW engages real estate finance professionals and industry partners in a diverse, welcoming community.
