A Kinder, Gentler CFPB? Where do we stand a year and a half after then Acting Director Mulvaney announced the end of regulation by enforcement? Although the CFPB under Director Kraninger operates differently, in some respects, from the way it did under former Director Cordray, we are seeing significant activity in investigations and enforcement. Come hear Weiner Brodsky Kider attorney Michael Kieval discuss the latest trends in regulatory investigations and enforcement, what has stayed the same and what is different, including practical tips for staying out of trouble, and what we can expect going forward. We will also discuss recent trends in civil litigation, including under Section 8 of RESPA and relating to data breaches.
Lunch will be included
