Laurinda Clemente has been with MERSCORP Holdings, Inc. now owned by Intercontinental Exchange for 20 years. As Regional Sales Manager, Laurinda covers 17 states in the NE and Mid-Atlantic Regions. Prior to joining MERSCORP, Laurinda worked in Mortgage and Retail banking where she held positions in Mortgage origination, underwriting, correspondent Lending and Branch Management. Laurinda serves on several state MBA committees and boards. She has been a presenter and moderator at several eNote/eClosing educational sessions at various regional conferences. In her personal time, Laurinda enjoys spending quality time with her daughter Amanda who just completed her first year at University of Virginia.
Mike Cafferky is Fannie Mae’s Product Manager eMortgages. Mike graduated with a BBA from the College of William & Mary and has spent the last 15 of his 30 years at Fannie Mae developing and managing Fannie Mae’s eMortgage initiatives. Mike is widely recognized as an industry expert on the topic, is a frequent speaker on industry panels related to eMortgages and eClosings, and has provided numerous educational sessions at industry conferences on eMortgage requirements and processes.Mike routinely works with Fannie Mae customers, technology solution providers, document custodians, and warehouse funding providers to support their efforts to transition to electronic mortgage closings.
