Patrick J Casey, Master CMB, AMP: 2024 Hall of Fame Inductee
Patrick J. Casey, CMB, AMP recently retired in December 2022 after a forty-two-year career in retail mortgage banking production. Pat’s most recent role was as Executive Vice President and Director of Sales and Marketing at Fulton Mortgage Company which he joined in September 2015. He was responsible for all company wide Sales and Marketing efforts of residential mortgage lending in the Fulton lending footprint of MD, DC, VA, DE, PA, and NJ. Previously Pat was a Senior Vice President and Regional Manager for the newly formed Mid-Atlantic Region of Guaranteed Rate covering Maryland, DC, Virginia, and North Carolina. Pat joined Guaranteed Rate in February 2014 and helped it grow until September 2015. He shaped Guaranteed Rate’s Retail Mortgage Banking growth strategy and execution in Sales and Operations along with seeking out Acquisition candidates Nationwide.
A native Washingtonian, Pat is married to his bride DeEtte of forty plus years (a former Realtor) and they have three children Pat III, now also a mortgage banker after 15 years in commercial real estate, a son Chris, and a daughter Courtney -and four grandchildren Parker, Cameron, Graham and JP.
Pat graduated from St. John’s College High School in Washington, D.C. and earned a B.A. in Economics from Duke University, where he also played Lacrosse and Football. He is a graduate of the School of Mortgage Banking and received the Certified Mortgage Banker designation in 1996. Pat has chaired and been active on multiple local Realtor and Builder Association committees. He has also served in local and national MBA positions including Chairman of the CMB Society and Charman of MORPAC. Pat was a member of the Boards of the Maryland MBA and the MBA of Metropolitan Washington most recently in 2013. He also served as President of the MBA of Metropolitan Washington in 2000. He has served on the Habitat for Humanity Golden Hammer Council, Tewaaraton Foundation, Collins Foundation, and numerous others over a 40-year period. Pat was named “Mortgage Banker of the Year” for 2010 by the Maryland Mortgage Bankers Association and received the “2011 Outstanding Service Award “from the MBA of Metropolitan Washington.
