Mike Twigg: 2024 Hall of Fame Inductee
Mike Twigg has over 46 years of experience in the real estate finance and investment business. His role is to bring together the perfect blend of financing and private equity capital to each project to ensure proper return on investment for all involved parties. Early in his career, Mike worked for the National Housing Partnership pulling together investors for projects throughout the United States. For the past 25 years, he has served at the executive level for major national mortgage companies including National City Mortgage and MetLife Home Loans responsible for some of their most successful regions.
Mr. Twigg is active in his community and has served as President of the Rotary Club of College Park, President of the Field of Firsts Foundation which supports the College Park Aviation Museum, the Dean's Cabinet of the College of Arts & Humanities (University of Maryland), and Treasurer of the Board of Visitors (University of Maryland School of Music). He is a graduate of the University of Maryland with a BA degree in History. He has been married to his wife Sandy since 1987 and they have two sons.
