17th Annual Friends of Manna Reception and Silent Auction in October. 
Each October a group of volunteers, The Friends of Manna, hold a networking reception on behalf of Manna. Begun in 1996, by Jim Gray and a few of his neighbors, the event was intended to share with the local community the news of Manna's efforts to revitalize Shaw. Over the years the event has grown in size and scope. Manna hopes to make this year's Friends of Manna the most successful yet.

Walk with Hope and a Home on November 19, 2011

Hope and a Home is participating in the 24th Annual Fannie Mae Help the Homeless Walk. To register, go to www.helpthehomelessdc.org and click on the Get Involved button for additional information.
