The Mortgage Bankers Association of Metropolitan Washington is the largest organization representing residential and commercial mortgage industry professionals in the District of Columbia and nearby counties and cities of Maryland and Virginia. Our members include mortgage lenders, mortgage brokers and affiliated industry professionals. Organized in 1953, we are an independent affiliate of the Mortgage Bankers Association and we work cooperatively with our sister associations - the Virginia MLA (in Richmond) and the Maryland MBA (in Baltimore).
